About The Meadows
The Meadows sits well under a mile south of the city centre, a small pocket of single-family houses inside the City of Plymouth. The name is a common one, so give me the address rather than the name and I will pull what has sold on that street.
The Meadows is a small condominium community in the South Main Street area near downtown Plymouth. It is separate from Plymouth Meadows and Meadow Hills.
The development dates to the late 1980s and is described as approximately 20 residences. Two-bedroom plans, attached garages and private outdoor areas make it a useful alternative to a larger townhome project or downtown loft building. Individual residences differ in their entry arrangement and living level; a ground-floor listing should not be taken to mean every unit has the same access.
The southern city neighborhoods connect with a network of small public parks. Garden Club Park at Sutherland and Forest, Lions Club Park at Burroughs and Harding and Jack Wilcox Park at Byron and Dewey provide specific places to explore.
South Main Street connects this part of the city with the downtown shopping and dining area. Compari's on the Park, the Penn Theatre and the Plymouth District Library are specific destinations around the central streets. The Ann Arbor Road corridor offers another direction for everyday errands.
South Main, Sheldon and Lilley serve different parts of the southern city. Ann Arbor Road is the larger east-west corridor nearby, with connections toward I-275.
Review the current association documents for maintenance responsibilities, included services, parking and use rules. The budget, reserves and insurance information help explain how the community operates.
