Symar Subdivision is a platted neighborhood of single-family houses inside the City of Plymouth, roughly 25 acres under a mile southeast of the city centre. The plat name is the one that appears on the deed.

Symar Subdivision is in the residential area north of Ann Arbor Road and west of Lilley Road, near the Fairground and Reiser and Stellwagen areas.

Symar's ranch, bungalow and split-level housing makes the floor plan one of the most useful ways to compare homes. Two properties with similar total area may place bedrooms, gathering rooms and laundry on very different levels. Around the Burroughs Street area, the home search also connects with nearby parks and Plymouth's southern downtown streets. The neighborhood is best explored as a collection of individual homes, with attention to how interior updates and additions have changed each property over time.
