Sunshine Acres is a named subdivision of single-family houses in the City of Plymouth, roughly 35 acres under a mile south of the city centre. City addresses are billed on the city's millage, and Plymouth-Canton Community Schools serves them.

Sunshine Acres is north of Ann Arbor Road and east of Sheldon Road, around the Palmer Street and Simpson Street area on the city's south side.

Its mix of bungalow, Cape Cod, Colonial and ranch homes gives the neighborhood a broader range of layouts than a development built around one model. The location also creates two distinct directions for daily life: downtown destinations to the north and the Ann Arbor Road commercial corridor to the south. Buyers can weigh the appeal of an established city street against the particular home's space, garage arrangement and outdoor areas.

The southern city neighborhoods connect with a network of small public parks. Garden Club Park at Sutherland and Forest, Lions Club Park at Burroughs and Harding and Jack Wilcox Park at Byron and Dewey provide specific places to explore.
