About Glenview

Glenview is a named subdivision in Plymouth Township covering roughly 65 acres, close to two miles west of the Plymouth centre. Single-family houses throughout, on township rates rather than city ones.

Glenview is in the Beck Road and North Territorial Road area, near the Glenview Drive street network.

Glenview is associated with ranch-style houses around its residential street network near Beck and North Territorial. The range of lot settings and later improvements means the neighborhood is not limited to one interior experience. A home's window placement, connection to a patio and relationship to mature landscaping can be as significant as its bedroom count.

The western township's public recreation includes Hilltop Golf Course at 47000 Powell Road and Plymouth Township Park on Ann Arbor Trail. Golf, walking paths, a fishing pond and play areas offer different ways to spend time outdoors. Farther afield, Maybury State Park in the Northville area provides a larger trail destination.

Trips toward downtown Plymouth lead to the shops and dining around Kellogg Park, including Compari's on South Main and the Penn Theatre on Penniman. The Ann Arbor Road commercial corridor provides another group of everyday destinations.

Ridge, Beck, Napier and North Territorial form the main geographic framework for western-township travel. Regional trips may use the M-14, I-96 and I-275 network.
