Forest Edge is a named subdivision of roughly 19 acres in Northville Township, about two and a half miles southwest of the Northville centre. Northville Township sets the tax rate here rather than the city, and Northville Public Schools covers most of the township.

Forest Edge is a small detached-home setting on Forest Edge Court in Northville Township, in the Six Mile and Beck Road area. Listings and builder materials may use the more specific Forest Edge North name.

AP Builders developed ranch and Colonial homes in the Forest Edge area. Individual properties include substantial interiors and attached garages, with later construction and customized layouts creating differences between homes.

Six Mile and Beck roads help orient a visit. The particular subdivision entrance matters when comparing homes on opposite sides of these roads.
