About Brooklane Ridge

Brooklane Ridge is a named subdivision in Northville Township covering roughly 95 acres, about a mile and a half south of the Northville centre. The tax bill is Northville Township's rather than the City of Northville's, and Northville Public Schools covers most of the township — the district is still an address-level question.

Brooklane Ridge lies south of Six Mile Road and east of Sheldon Road. Its established planned-neighborhood setting places it between the township's central residential areas and the Northville Road corridor.

Homes from the late 1990s and early 2000s include Colonial and Cape Cod layouts. Attached garages, basements and substantial living areas are common, with later remodeling and finished lower levels distinguishing individual houses.

Six Mile and Sheldon roads are useful starting points for local travel. Longer trips may use M-14 or the I-275 network, depending on the endpoint.

The Six Mile and Sheldon area connects several Northville residential neighborhoods. Downtown is a separate outing to the north, and Marv Gans Community Park near Five Mile and Beck offers another destination for an area visit.
