Orchard East is the east side of Monroe between the River Raisin and Plum Creek, running east of Jerome Street out to I-75. The City of Monroe treats it as a distinct planning area, and it reads as one: established residential blocks threaded through with parks, community facilities and local businesses, so a house here sits in a mixed setting rather than a subdivision.
Hellenberg Park, Labor Park and the Arthur Lesow Community Center are all inside it.
