Golfcrest

Golfcrest is a hamlet in Frenchtown Charter Township, on the north side of the Monroe area. It is a small named community rather than a large platted subdivision, which makes the name more useful as a search reference than as a description of one housing type.

Published housing profiles for the wider Golfcrest area describe a mix of detached houses and apartments, much of the stock from the middle and later decades of the twentieth century. Those profiles draw their own boundaries, which do not necessarily follow a recorded plat, so an address and the subdivision named on its deed give a more precise answer than the area label.
