Evergreen Acres

Evergreen Acres is a residential subdivision in Monroe Charter Township, southwest of downtown Monroe. It is one of the smaller named communities in the township, which makes it a more precise search reference than the broader area names around it. Its own park sits inside it. The township's 2024 Parks and Recreation Master Plan identifies Evergreen Acres Park as a neighborhood-serving site of roughly half an acre — a scale that suits what it is, somewhere for the streets around it rather than a destination, with the township's larger parks covering the rest. Downtown Monroe's shops and the River Raisin are part of the wider setting.
