About Central Park
Central Park is the umbrella name for four separately platted neighborhoods in southeast Canton Township — Central Park Estates, the Enclaves at Central Park, Central Park South and the Vistas of Central Park — south of Cherry Hill and Denton roads, across from Independence Athletic Park and alongside Pheasant Run Golf Club. Pulte built the run from roughly 1998 through 2004, in a Colonial vocabulary from about 2,000 square feet to over 4,100.
The four share a clubhouse, an in-ground pool, tennis courts and association-maintained trails, but they were platted and built separately: a sale in one is not automatically a comparable for a house in another, and the association documents are specific to each. The school district line between Plymouth-Canton and Van Buren also runs through this part of the township, so the district is confirmed by address, never assumed.
