Lakewood Estates is a condominium community covering roughly 65 acres in Ypsilanti Township, about four miles southeast of the Ypsilanti centre. Taxes come from the township rather than the City of Ypsilanti, and because two districts split the township I would confirm the school assignment for the particular unit before anything else.
