About Dover-Parkside
Dover-Parkside covers roughly 75 acres about a mile and a half southwest of the Ann Arbor centre. It is one community under a compound name, all of it inside the city. Schools are Ann Arbor Public Schools and the tax bill is the city's, which leaves the house itself as the open question.
Dover-Parkside is a west Ann Arbor subdivision around Dartmoor Road, with nearby streets including Hampton Court, Lochinvar and Ivywood. The neighborhood was being developed in the early 1960s, placing it within the city's established postwar housing landscape. Its position near West Liberty gives buyers a clear route toward the older west side and downtown.
Look beyond a home's bedroom count to the distribution of its living space. Later additions, basement finishes and renovations can make houses from the same building period function quite differently. The lot's shape and the arrangement of the garage and yard also matter.
